We planned to open on the Thursday before Mother’s Day with our flower delivery the day before. However, the flower delivery got changed at the last minute to opening day.
So it was full on madness to prepare the flowers and put them into their vases ready for customers.

Tim gets into action.
By the end of Friday, Tim had made up 30 something bouquets and we were fast running out of flowers. The flower room was full so we had to utilise the stairs to the attic.
The flower room was bursting with colour and perfume ~ bouquets ready to be collected on Saturday.
On Saturday there was a steady stream of customers wanting bouquets once again. Saturday’s delivery of flowers was soon depleted.
On Mothering Sunday itself, there were deliveries to do and bouquets to be collected. Yet again, there were still people popping in asking for bouquets.
