A feature on page 10 of the Tiverton Gazette and on Facebook and Devon Live! has created a bit of a stir. Blooming great, budding florists and a number of other floral puns made interesting reading. Some nice publicity for the shop - and free advertising a bonus.
We planned to open on the Thursday before Mother’s Day with our flower delivery the day before. However, the flower delivery got changed at the last minute to opening day. So it was full on madness to prepare the flowers and put them into their vases ready for customers. The sign says it all. Look at these beautiful flowers, ready to be made into beautiful bouquets. Tim gets into action. By the end of Friday, Tim had made up 30 something bouquets and we were fast running out
Tim with his great nephew cutting the ribbon for the official opening of the shop. So we opened for a couple of afternoons prior to the official opening day to test the till and card machine. One gentleman called in for a bouquet after doing a google search and a walk around town. Not to self - get us on google! There’s a few orders for Mother’s Day. Here’s to the future.

So opening a Florist shop has been a lifelong dream for us.......
